DIsruptiX Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing, multi-location manufacturing organization to hire a Senior Accountant for a newly created position on their accounting team. This role reports directly to the Controller and will play a key role in supporting month-end close, balance sheet integrity and divisional accounting across multiple operating entities.

Each division maintains its own P&L, making this an ideal opportunity for a Senior Accountant who enjoys ownership, accountability and working in a dynamic operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
  • Support a 10-day month-end close, including journal entries and accruals
  • Assist with general ledger accounting in a manufacturing and inventory-based environment
  • Work within a Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) ERP environment; support system enhancements as needed
  • Manage accounting activity through Concur, including AP invoices and employee expense reporting
  • Track and account for fixed assets, capital leases, and related debt obligations
  • Monitor and record payments related to major equipment and long-term assets
  • Partner closely with the Controller, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams
  • Support inventory accounting for raw materials and production equipment
  • Assist with internal controls and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Manufacturing, inventory, or operational accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred
  • Experience with Concur invoice and expense workflows a plus
  • Exposure to fixed assets, capital leases, and debt accounting
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced close environment
