Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong foundation in public accounting to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with deep knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, and improving accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Assist with preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Partner with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs
• Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards
• Support special projects, process improvements, and system enhancements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting experience
• CPA or CPA track preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Public accounting experience with exposure to audit, assurance, or advisory work
