Description
Job Description Perform all aspects of accounting work, recording transactions, reconciling and other tasks. We are searching for an experienced accountant that has worked in a mid to large size company with corporate experience. You'll need to be a great communicator and possess the knowledge to get the job done. You will represent Prisma every day with a positive attitude. Job Responsibilities:
- Complete complex reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close process
- Generate and record journal entries
- Work with A/P on issues of weekly vendor checks
- Review A/P backup documentation for signature
- Daily Bank Reconciliation
- Assist in AR Collections
- Daily Cash Application
- Assist with annual audit
- Maintain Fixed Assets
- Streamline accounting processes and procedures
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- A minimum of 5-8+ years' experience in accounting is required in a mid to large size company
- A high proficiency in Excel, including working with and troubleshooting macros required
- Experience with accounting software systems
- Must have good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Must possess a high attention to detail and be a proven multi-tasker
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, and reliable.
