Senior Accountant

LHH is partnering with a well-established law firm in Palm Beach Gardens to hire a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager.

This is a 100% onsite opportunity offering a base salary of $85,000–$100,000+, with flexibility to go higher for the right candidate, plus a discretionary bonus.

The firm is open on title and is focused on finding the right level of experience. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work closely with attorneys, partners, and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day accounting operations within a law firm environment

• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger activity

• Support detailed client billing, hourly billing, invoicing, and related accounting processes

• Work closely with partners, attorneys, and internal staff on accounting and billing matters

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP

• Assist with process improvements and accounting efficiencies

• Utilize Excel for reporting, analysis, and reconciliations

• Support the Finance Manager and broader accounting/finance team

• Take on increasing responsibility with the opportunity to grow into a Finance Manager role

Qualifications:

• Prior law firm accounting experience required

• Senior Accountant-level experience or above

• Strong understanding of GAAP

• Strong Excel skills

• Experience with legal billing, client invoicing, hourly billing, and related law firm accounting processes

• Aderant experience highly preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable working directly with attorneys, partners, and staff

• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to take ownership of responsibilities

• Interested in long-term growth with the organization

Schedule:

• 100% onsite in Palm Beach Gardens

• Monday–Friday

• Flexible hours between 8:30 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Compensation:

• $85,000–$100,000+ base salary
