A growing manufacturing company is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close processes.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Support cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation and product costing.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Process payroll and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with cost accounting and payroll processing preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
