Senior Accountant

DescriptionKforce's client, a leading global media giant, seeks a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for assisting in ensuring regulatory compliance with SEC reporting requirements. Hybrid work options are available.Duties include:* Preparation of 10-Q, 10-K and other SEC filings including financial statements, footnote disclosures and MD&A to ensure timely and accurate filings and testing of internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act* Assist in the valuation and expense recognition of equity-based compensation, pension and other post-retirement benefits, preparation of goodwill and identifiable intangible annual impairment testing* Assist with the assessment of new SEC/GAAP pronouncementsRequirements* Degree in Accounting* CPA preferred* 2+ years of Big 4 and/or private industry experience* SEC reporting experience preferred* Experience preparing footnote disclosures and accounting memos* Strong organizational skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Detail-oriented* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and WordJob TypeDirect HireCompensation96000 - $
