A leading real estate investment and development firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a great opportunity for professionals with a Big 4 or Mid-Size experience who are looking to transition into a dynamic, real estate environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Support financial reporting, consolidations, and analysis for a diverse real estate portfolio
- Partner with internal teams on budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination
- Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best accounting practices
- Assist with month-end close and preparation of management reports
- Collaborate with leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large firm preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment
