Our manufacturing client is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. GREAT opportunity on the island to shift out of public accounting before another busy season!
What the role focuses on:
- Monthly reconciliations, variance analysis, and balance sheet review
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports and trends
- Monitoring assigned accounts and flagging issues proactively
- Researching and resolving exceptions or discrepancies
- Supporting month‑end close and financial transmissions
- Testing system backups and ensuring data accuracy
- Assisting with inventory, fixed asset, and internal audit requests
- Contributing to special projects and documenting procedures
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes
What they’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting
- Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to research technical guidance
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA is a plus
- Prior audit experience from a large regional or national public accounting firm is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
