Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with strong Sage Intacct expertise to support a growing accounting team through a post-implementation stabilization and process improvement initiative. This individual will serve as a hands-on accounting professional and trusted systems resource, helping optimize workflows, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing accounting operations. Based on the prior discussion, the role is focused on post-go-live Sage Intacct support, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and accounting process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Sage Intacct and provide guidance on system functionality, workflows, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot accounting and system-related issues across AP, AR, general ledger, and revenue processes.
• Assist with post-implementation cleanup, stabilization efforts, and process optimization.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies between subledgers and the general ledger.
• Support revenue recognition processes and complex accounting transactions.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve efficiency, automate workflows, and strengthen reporting capabilities.
• Assist with data validation, reconciliations, and historical transaction review.
• Train and support accounting team members on Sage Intacct functionality and accounting processes.
• Document procedures and recommend process improvements to enhance scalability and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience required.
• Experience supporting an ERP implementation, system conversion, or post-go-live stabilization effort.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting project-based organizations.
• Sage Intacct implementation or optimization experience.
• Experience reconciling and validating data during system conversions.
• Background supporting process improvement and accounting transformation initiatives.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams.
