Addison Group has partnered with a healthcare operating organization looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This role will participate in month-end close process including review and analysis of underlying financials.
Responsibilities
- Participate in month-end close process including review and analysis of underlying financials
- Review monthly financial for completeness and accuracy
- Preparing and reviewing ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
- Coordinate timely preparation and review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
- Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning process
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual result with plans and forecasts
- Aid in the completion of the partnership tax return and partner K1 preparation
- Collaborate with outside audit, working closely with independent accounting firm and providing all requested deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Public accounting experience preferred
- CPA preferred
