The senior accountant is responsible for managing core general ledger activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The senior accountant plays a key role in financial analysis, audits, and special accounting projects.

Responsibilities of Senior Accountant

  • Lead and maintain main GL functions, including reconciliations

  • Prepare and post journal entries

  • Prepare monthly financial statements

  • Perform financial reporting and analysis

  • Support year-end close, audits, and special projects as a senior accountant

Requirements of Senior Accountant

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • General ledger experience

  • Year-end close experience

  • Experience with accounting systems
