Temporary Senior Accountant
Our client on the west side of Madison is seeking a temporary Senior Accountant to support their team for the next few months. The ideal candidate will have prior Senior Accountant experience, with manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset records and support depreciation tracking and reporting
- Perform inventory reconciliations and assist with inventory-related accounting activities
- Analyze and reconcile warranty reserves and related accounting allocations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Assist with cost accounting activities, including inventory, warranty, and related balance sheet account analysis
Requirements
- 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and warranty reserve allocations is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Immediate availability preferred
