This role will work closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure inventory activity is accurate, timely, and well-documented.The Senior Accountant will also support month-end and year-end close activities, operational accounting processes, and special accounting projects. Over the next year, this person will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful inventory process improvements, helping simplify and strengthen how inventory is tracked, costed, and reconciled.This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, highly collaborative, and excited to be part of a team-oriented culture.Role ResponsibilitiesSupport inventory accounting activities, including transactions, reconciliations, and close-related workAssist with month-end and year-end close processes related to inventory and operational accountingReview and maintain accurate inventory activity across the businessPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentationPartner with accounting team members and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve questions and improve workflowsAssist with process improvement projects focused on inventory costing, transaction flow, and operational efficiencySupport audit requests, internal controls, and financial reporting needs as neededAssist with special projects and ad hoc accounting initiatives as the business continues to growQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3–5+ years of accounting, audit, or related finance experienceInventory accounting experience within Manufacturing, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Technology Hardware, or a similar product-based environmentStrong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processesPublic accounting, large company, public company, or regulated-industry experience is a plusExposure to internal controls, audit support, or process improvement is helpfulCPA or active CPA candidate preferredStrong Excel skills and the ability to communicate clearly across teamsWhy This Role Stands Out• Join a growing, mission-driven organization with meaningful business momentum• Hybrid schedule with limited onsite requirements• Work alongside a smart, collaborative accounting team with strong technical backgrounds• Gain exposure to inventory accounting, operational accounting, close, controls, and process improvement• Contribute to a major inventory process improvement initiative with real business impact• Enjoy a team culture that values collaboration, communication, and being genuinely engaged
