We are currently seeking an experienced:
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
JOB SUMMARY:

• Prepare and record journal entries and ensuring the accuracy of the entries
• Maintain the financial reports and general ledger accounts while ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded, prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Researching and correcting account discrepancies
• Meeting all monthly and ad-hoc reporting deadlines while gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function
• Analysis of accounts with the use of queries to review discrepancies and/or trends
• Assisting with audits and other inquiries as needed

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Five or more years of experience in Accounting.
• One or more years of experience with Medicare Advantage or PACE is preferred. Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage or PACE program is also preferred
• Proficient in use of MS Office products with an emphasis on Excel and other basic computer skills
• Knowledge of accounting and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Detail oriented and able to maintain information in an accurate and organized manner.
• Highly ethical with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within their department and with other departments.
• Proficiency with ERP accounting software and other computer-based tools to work efficiently.
• Possess the ability to interact well with all staff levels with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Must be service oriented, an excellent team member and able to juggle multiple priorities with shifting of agendas.
• Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage or PACE program is preferred but not required.
