They would need more experience and be more analytical.Would prefer general leger experience.Accounting experience, analytical, self-starter (must be able to hit the ground running and need minimal supervision), general ledger experience, oracle or similar ERP experience.Resource needs to be local to Vegas and have reliable home WIFI and Smart phoneExample of Senior/Accountant Background We Are Looking ForStrong analyticalMasters in Accounting (strong GAAP)R2R experienceOracle ExperienceStrong ExcelAble to hit the ground runningJob SummaryThis role will be responsible for recording/reviewing transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, understanding and owning accounts and areas as assigned.Assist the department supervisor/manager in presenting to business partners and senior management explanations for monthly activity and/or fluctuationsKey Job FunctionsCollaborate with a combination of professional and non-professional accounting staffComplies with Caesars accounting policies and procedures, and existing control frameworkUnderstand the applicable requirements of US GAAP and be able to apply to daily tasksPerform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting processes to accurately record transactionsPerform monthly account reconciliations and provide timely research and resolution of reconciling items with exceptions reported to management for review and consultationPrepare monthly deliverables, including roll forward schedules, financial reporting support schedules, and legal/regulatory reporting.Perform analytical work under limited supervision applying knowledge of basic accounting principles.
