Job TitleResponsibilities:Responsible for a variety of general accounting dutiesOwn the allocation of expenses to business unitsPerform mass uploads of data from subsystems to the general ledgerAnalyze expensesManage the preparation and posting of journal entriesCompile and analyze schedules for internal purposes and financial auditsPrepare balance sheet reconciliations, research variances and determine appropriate resolutionRespond to and resolve all internal and external inquiries in a timely mannerEnsure business controls are followed and operating as designedOther finance/accounting responsibilities will be assigned as neededRequired Qualifications:Strong analytical skills, ability to propose resolutions to problemsAbility to work with limited supervisionHave strong working knowledge of accounting theories and practices and the ability to understand the relationship between operational processes and accounting impactsMust stay current on accounting practices – Must attend a minimum of 6 CPE classes per year.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of employees throughout all levels of the organizationTeam player and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environmentAbility to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlinesMust be detail-oriented and a self-starterMinimum Requirements:Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experienceBachelor Degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong to Advanced Excel skillsKnowledge of Great Plains or SAP preferredCPA preferred Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $30.00 - $45.00
