Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
• Perform general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Prepare and post journal entries and support monthly close activities.
• Track and coordinate grants while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assist with financial reporting and preparation of financial statements.
• Monitor and reconcile cash and balance sheet accounts.
• Support process improvements, internal controls, and accounting system initiatives.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting and financial issues.
• Assist with governmental billings, banking activities, and other accounting operations.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience; nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
• Grant management or grant accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and experience working with accounting systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP / Great Plains is a plus.
• CPA, MBA, CGMS, or similar credential preferred but not required.
