Confidential Senior Accountant Opportunity We are conducting a confidential search for an established company in Downtown Chicago. Base salary, $80K - $120K, plus a discretionary bonus and competitive full benefits. Work Arrangement: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in Downtown Chicago, IL.
This Senior Accountant will own key inventory and COGS accounting responsibilities, including month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and the review of inventory and cost movements.
Maintain and reconcile inventory, costing, and COGS accounts across multiple sites * Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations * Support inventory and production-related audit and tax schedules * Work with operations, supply chain, and purchasing to resolve transaction discrepancies * Support ERP data accuracy, process reviews, and item-level costing updates
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance * 3+ years of corporate accounting experience with inventory and COGS exposure, or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience * Experience with D365, SAP Business One, Oracle, JDE, or a comparable ERP * Advanced Excel skills
