Job Description Greenfield Milling TITLE Senior Accountant Job Location Logan, UT 84321 Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Salary Range $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salary/year Description Description An innovative and fast-growing manufacturing company headquartered in Denver is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. You will analyze financial data and maintain the financial system for general accounting/ledger and cost accounting. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate, timely, and proper accounting and financial records using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This person can be based in Denver, CO or Logan, UT. Senior Accountant Responsibilities: Ensures the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger. Understands and prepare revenue recognition on a timely basis. Month end close: calculate, review and process journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Reviews, evaluates, and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records to ensure the financials are accurate and complete. Works closely with AR and AP to ensure accuracy. Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and to ensure financial statements are reported according to GAAP. Perform financial analysis of actual results against budget, investigate unusual balances and variances and corrects discrepancies. Assists team in preparation of annual audits. Analyzes financial reports and records, making recommendations relative to the accounting reserves, assets, and expenditures. Establish effective communication lines with other departments. Perform other related duties as assigned. Reviews, evaluates, and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records to ensure the financials are accurate and complete. Works closely with AR and AP to ensure accuracy. Qualifications Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, or finance, CPA a plus

5 plus years of proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with financial reporting and analysis.

Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems, Acumatica experience is a plus

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

Understanding of cost accounting principles and experience in cost analysis is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Advanced Excel required.
