LHH is partnering with our northside property management client in their search for a qualified Senior Accountant to add to their growing team. The Senior Accountant who will report directly to the Vice President of Accounting. The duties of the role include assisting with the preparation of financial statements, financial reporting, banking and SOX/SOC controls. Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements Coordinating activities of external auditors and external tax accountants Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
Strong knowledge of financial software systems (e.g., Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and customer-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and pivot tables
