LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing privately owned quickly scaling firm in Indianapolis seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a newly created role due to growth and succession planning. This position will support a multi-entity organization and will be responsible for a blend of GL accounting/month/year end, audit support, and payroll duties.
Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Accounting
- Month/Year-End Close
- Journal Entries
- Account Reconciliations
- Financial Statement Support
- Multi-Entity Payroll Administration & Related Accounting
- Payroll Reporting, Compliance & Benefits Reconciliations
- Physician Compensation Calculation Support
- Audit Support
- Payroll/GL Integration & Reporting Projects
- Cross-Functional Finance & HR Collaboration
- Backup Support Across Accounting Functions
- Special ERP and Payroll Projects
- Ad Hoc Analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years’ progressive accounting experience required
- Complex Payroll experience preferred
- Foundation in public accounting preferred
- CPA preferred
