Responsibilities:
• Oversee monthly and quarterly accounting activities across multiple entities.
• Conduct and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Analyze expenses, including salaries, wages, taxes, and benefits, and prepare forecasts.
• Participate in projects aimed at enhancing accounting processes and systems.
• Collaborate with departments such as HR, Operations, Finance, Tax, and Legal to resolve inquiries and support initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Prepare necessary documentation to support internal and external audits.
• Provide management with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, particularly in payroll and general ledger.
• Proficiency in month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Skilled in bank reconciliations and general ledger systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with annual external audits and compliance processes.
