Job OpportunityThe responsibilities of the job include, but not limited to, the following:Closing the books monthly while reviewing and preparing journal entries;Reviewing and preparing account reconciliations;Assisting in the year-end audit;Assisting in Accounts Payable and Payroll functions;Preparing, reviewing, and recording contractuals and write-offs;Assisting in the other Accounting department duties when requested by the Assistant Coordinator and Controller;Creating numerous internal and external financial reports.Minimum educational and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:Bachelor's degree required with course studies in principles of Accounting and intermediate Accounting;Master's Degree in Accounting preferred;Two to three years of experience required;CPA candidate preferred;Candidate must have strong computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Excel, Abra, Crystal Reports, and Exact Software Macola.
