Senior Accountant ContractJob Title: Senior Accountant ContractLocation (city, state): Fort Mill, SCIndustry: Manufacturing/DistributionPay: $35–$43/hourThe Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing daily and monthly accounting operations. This position requires a self-starter with a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to help establish or improve internal processes. Ideal candidates are solutions-oriented, thrive in evolving environments, and bring both technical proficiency and strategic insight to the table.Key Responsibilities:Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activitiesPrepare and post journal entries and perform detailed account reconciliationsMaintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting in line with GAAPManage fixed asset accounting, including tracking, depreciation, and disposalsPerform financial analysis and support reporting to assist management decision-makingSupport budgeting and forecasting efforts and conduct variance analysisCollaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepanciesEnsure adherence to internal controls and financial complianceParticipate in audits and assist in gathering required documentationHelp improve current accounting processes and assist in system enhancementsProvide mentorship and oversight to junior staff membersContribute to special projects, including potential system upgradesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred4+ years of hands-on accounting experienceProficiency in Excel and general ledger systems (experience with ERP systems like N4 Syteline, NetSuite, or Dynamics is a plus)Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accountingAbility to work independently and take initiativeComfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving processesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAdditional Details:Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (some flexibility available)Fully in-office roleBusiness casual dress codeReports directly to corporate leadershipPerks:Opportunity to help shape processes and drive improvementsExposure to a wide range of accounting functionsCollaborative and supportive team culturePotential for full-time hire based on performanceValuable experience with a growing, dynamic organizationAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
