SNI Financial is partnered with a well-known publicly traded company that is headquartered in the Loop that is looking to hire a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant. This individual will support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including SEC filings, financial statements, management reporting, and audit support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and SEC filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Support monthly management and CFO reporting
- Prepare consolidation, intercompany, and related journal entries
- Review financial data and Hyperion reporting
- Support quarterly earnings releases and standalone financial statements
- Prepare audit schedules and assist with external audits
- Review XBRL tagging and debt covenant calculations
- Identify process improvements and assist with special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of accounting experience; public accounting preferred
- CPA preferred
- Strong U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting experience
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
