The work we do building families offers purpose, challenge, and personal reward—and we're just getting started.This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.In this role, the Senior Accountant will:Maintain the accurate and timely dissemination of financial statements and reportsSupport and facilitate external auditOversee accounts payable operationsReconcile and review General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with GAAPReview corporate prepared financial statements for accuracy and prepare month end journal entriesReview and prepare bank reconciliationsEstablish and maintain systems and internal controlsParticipate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reportsProvide financial support to management and multiple departmentsReview payroll processingMaintain and protect operations by keeping all pertinent information confidentialManage financial close cycle and variance analysisOversee accounts payableParticipate in department budget preparation and complianceParticipate in internal and external auditsWe're looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.Qualifications and skills include:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance3 to 5 years' experience in accounting and financeHealthcare experience preferredCPA preferredMore important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
