Senior Accountant – Development Accounting
Hybrid Schedule
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 + 5–10% Bonus

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Own the project draw process from start to finish, including preparing draw packages, managing invoices, coordinating lender and investor funding requests, and overseeing payment execution.
- Perform full-cycle development accounting for multiple active commercial real estate and data center construction projects.
- Track project costs, budgets, and capital expenditures while ensuring accurate project allocations.
- Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end close activities.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to ensure financial accuracy.
- Review and process construction invoices while coordinating with internal project teams and external vendors.
- Monitor project spending and assist with cash flow planning related to development activities.
- Support accounting for land acquisitions, construction costs, and development-related transactions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with preparing financial reporting and schedules for lenders, investors, and internal leadership.
- Partner closely with Controllers and project management teams to improve processes, maintain accurate project records, and support ongoing portfolio growth.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and help strengthen accounting procedures as the development portfolio continues to expand.
Senior Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2–3+ years of development accounting experience within commercial real estate, construction, industrial development, or another project-based environment.
- Experience managing project draws is required; Yardi or similar real estate accounting software is highly preferred.
