At Smile Doctors, we excel at providing exceptional patient care.What We OfferWhat You'll DoFacilitates the monthly close process by preparing and reviewing journal entries for accuracy and completeness of applicable income statement and balance sheet line itemsConducts monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenanceReviews and analyzes financial statements, monthly for accuracy and completeness by reviewing general ledger detailsRaises issues with potential solutions if discrepancies are encounteredContributes to audit deliverables and audit deadlinesConducts regular ledger maintenanceMakes recommendations on process improvement or expense management based on review of P&L and balance sheet activitiesRecords and reviews journal entries to ensure accuracy and completenessTrains and mentors team membersPerforms variance analyses and prepares account reconciliationsDocuments and monitors internal controls in support of auditing teamCoordinates more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance teamOther duties as assignedWhat You'll NeedBachelor's Degree in Accounting requiredCPA preferredMinimum of 3 years' experience in accounting required, 6 years preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience with accounting software and general ledger systemsAdvanced knowledge of ExcelAbility to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal customers and coworkersThis is the perfect opportunity to grow with an expanding organization!
