In return, the position offers meaningful responsibility, high visibility, and a genuine opportunity to influence how the firm operates as it continues to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and firm policiesReview and oversee the accuracy of client deliverablesConduct account reviews and resolve accounting issues as they ariseServe as a primary point of contact for assigned clientsManage ongoing client communications and expectationsConduct client meetings and address questions or concerns in a timely mannerManage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneouslyCoordinate with accounting, tax, and advisory teams to meet client needsAddress issues proactively in a fast-paced environmentIdentify opportunities to expand services for existing clientsAssist with proposals, renewals and client transitionsSupport firm initiatives related to growth, process improvement and scalabilityPrepare client performance and financial reportsAnalyze financial data for insights to clientsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field3–5 years of public accounting or client-facing experienceStrong accounting knowledgeProficiency in QuickBooks both Online and DesktopStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple clients and deadlines concurrentlyPreferred QualificationsCPA or progress toward CPAExperience with complex client accountsWork Environment & ScheduleFull time, salaried, exempt positionHybrid based in Springfield, MOOccasional client travelStandard Monday–Friday schedule, 8 am -5 pm, with additional hours required during peak periodsCompensation & BenefitsCompensation for this role is designed to reflect both core responsibilities and individual contribution. This position is paid on a salary basis using a total compensation model, which includes a base salary plus performance-based incentive pay through the firm's Balanced Scorecard (BSC) program. Incentive pay is earned and a portion paid monthly based on individual performance and is included as part of the role's total compensation.
