- The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar from an accredited university
- They are looking for someone with 2+ years of accounting experience in real estate or experience with full cycle accounting
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist in all closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Manage the fixed asset accounting function for your assigned properties
- Makes recommendations and creates plans to improve internal controls when necessary
- Performing P&L analysis and ad hoc reporting when necessary
- Daily and weekly balance sheet reconciliations and checking for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Applies standard GAAP methods; makes recommendations to improve practices or procedures.
- Creating journal entries and doing bank reconciliations
