Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Accounting and Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this role offers broad exposure across the business, ownership of key accounting processes, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on financial reporting and process improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with 3+ years of experience who enjoys digging into financial data, solving problems, and finding smarter ways to work. Public accounting experience is a plus, making this a great next step for someone looking to transition into industry.

Responsibilities:

• Own key general ledger activities and contribute to the monthly financial close process.
• Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement results.
• Investigate financial trends and variances against budget and forecast.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, analyses, and supporting documentation.
• Research accounting issues and help develop practical solutions.
• Partner with the Senior Accounting Manager to analyze financial results and provide insights to the business.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, strengthen controls, and improve financial reporting.
• Support system enhancements, process automation, and documentation initiatives.
• Take ownership of special projects while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large amounts of financial data.
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Someone who takes initiative, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in automation, process optimization, and scalable accounting practices.
