Robert Half is working with a great team who is looking to bring on a Sr. Accountant to their team. The Senior Accountant will support month-end close, financial reporting, and analysis efforts while helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial results. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a 3+ years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Perform and review intercompany transactions, including reconciliations and eliminations across multiple entities.
- Assist with consolidation of financial statements for domestic and international subsidiaries.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management regarding trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Support external and internal audits by providing schedules, documentation, and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or similar focus), CPA a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
