Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
• Manage payroll processing for multiple entities and 300+ employees
• Lead month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Review accounts payable processes and support accounting operations
• Serve as backup for accounting team functions as needed
• Assist with year-end reporting, audits, and payroll-related compliance activities
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Hands-on payroll processing experience
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Healthcare industry experience preferred
• Demonstrated career stability and longevity
