Senior Accountant – Business Services – ManhattanA national Professional Services firm based in New York City has created a new role on its staff for an experienced Senior Accountant. Reporting to the Assistant Controller and collaborating with team members across various departments, this individual will be a key contributor to monthly General Ledger accounting activities.Primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepanciesOversee daily, monthly, and annual GL accounting activitiesPrepare and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with GAAPReview and approve expenses and AP transactionsProduct financial reporting packages and supporting documentsPerform variance and budget-to-actual analysis for multiple departmentsParticipate in special projects including regular adjustments to policies and proceduresSupport annual external audit activitiesAbility to perform all required duties while working in-person, 5 days a weekQualifications:Bachelor's degree in accountingCPA or significant progress toward certification4 years of progressive General Ledger and Financial Reporting experienceCompensation:Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year plus benefits and performance incentives.About TrovaTal:Elevating Careers, Fueling Growth.
