Senior Accountant

Overview

Role involving preparation of statutory accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, bookkeeping and VAT returns, client liaison, and supervising junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Working closely with a diverse and interesting portfolio of clients
• Corporate and personal tax return preparation
• Bookkeeping, preparation and review of VAT returns
• Dealing with client queries
• Supervising the junior members of staff and assisting with ongoing training

Qualifications

• ACCA part qualified or ACCA qualified
• 4-5 years of accountant practice experience
• Experience with a variety of accountancy software (IRIS, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, VT)
• Aspiring to progress your professional career
