Our client is an established commercial real estate company managing a diverse portfolio of income-producing properties.
The Role
This is a mini-controller opportunity. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of properties, handling monthly and quarterly closes, bank reporting, and budget/variance analysis.
What You'll Own
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budgets, income statements, and balance sheets across multiple properties
- Build and maintain management reporting packages: rent rolls, vacancy reporting, delinquency reporting
- Review annual CAM, tax, and expense pass-through reconciliations
- Support resolution of tenant/landlord disputes with documentary backup
- Assist with third-party audits and tax package preparation
- Develop and improve financial recordkeeping systems and processes
Profile xhqgsiq
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred, ideally from a large/national firm; public/private mix also welcome
- 2-5+ years of accounting experience; real estate a plus
- Self-starter who can manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- Strong Excel and organizational skills
