We're looking for people who are passionate about sports, embody accountability, collaboration, curiosity, positivity, grit, and excellence, and are motivated to help grow and elevate the communities we serve.The RoleThe Senior Accountant is responsible for processing accounting transactions, compiling and analyzing financial reports, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and providing ad hoc analyses.

This position will have tremendous exposure to all aspects of the accounting cycle. The position requires an individual who has a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, general accounting processes and internal controls, and financial analysis tools and techniques.ResponsibilitiesProcess journal entries and other accounting transactionsProcess expense report transactionsPerform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accountsMaintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledgerOrganize and maintain accounting files and recordsPerform monthly financial statement analyticsAssist with the year-end auditParticipate in special projects to improve efficiency of accounting processesRespond to requests for financial/accounting information from all business functionsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesBachelor's degree in accountingMinimum 2-5 years accounting experienceKnowledge of GAAP principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skillsSuperior organization skillsProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)Focus on managing time well and multi-taskTeam player and ability to collaborate with other departmentsDetailed orientedSelf-starter with ability to work independentlyAbility to adapt in an environment where change is a constantPrior experience with NetSuite, Ramp, and TipaltiOur Commitment to DiversityFloSports exists to elevate the communities, athletes, and sports that have too often been overlooked.
