NAIP Senior AccountantThe NAIP Senior Accountant, reports to the NAIP Accounting Manager and will be a key member of the NAIP Accounting team and work in collaboration with the NAIP Plant Managers and NAIP finance team. Candidate must be a self-starter, adept at communicating with multiple levels of an organization, and have the ability to build trust, influence, and work with teams cross functionally.ResponsibilitiesPrepare JEs to accrue any unrecorded revenue or cost items; accruals, handle special plant events accounting - e.g. closures, start-ups, insurance claims etc.Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for "plant-controlled" balance sheet accounts per company policyProduce accurate monthly BS & P&L's for the plants in accordance with GAAPEstablish, communicate, and track plant closing calendarLead monthly review meetings of plant P&L'sSupport inter/intra company reconciliationsLiaise with FP&A and finance team membersExplain variance fluctuations in plants P&L'sProvide accounting guidance to plant managers for invoice codingAd-hoc analytics for responsible sites' BS & P&L'sTrack and report progress of assigned projectsLead effective communication, coordination and cooperation amongst the project team and between other company functions or business unit leaders.Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the company.RequirementsAccounting degreeexperience with accounting Close Process5+ years of accounting experience, including month end close for Accruals, prepaid, inventoryComfortable working in a Fast-Paced EnvironmentLarge ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics SL a plus)Strong Excel skills a mustStrong attention to detailExcellent negotiation and problem-solving skillsDispute resolution and claims management experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbout UsDo you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place?
