Senior Account Manager - West Coast

Our client is a global leader in optical interconnect solutions serving the data communications, telecom, and fiber optics sectors. Their innovative components and cable assemblies are trusted by major OEMs and system integrators shaping the future of high-speed connectivity. They are now seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive account growth and deliver tailored connectivity solutions across the West Coast.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies that align with regional profitability goals.
• Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to customer delivery.
• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and the customer.
• Grow and manage key relationships within assigned customer base.
• Coordinate with inside sales and technical teams to expand opportunities.
• Manage forecasting, CRM updates, and pipeline tracking for assigned accounts.
• Lead strategic engagement with new and existing customers across your territory.
• Deliver product quotations, coordinate sampling, and support trade show events.
• Provide detailed market feedback to internal teams and upper management.
• Travel 40–50% to engage customers and support business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in fiber optic interconnects, cable assemblies, or related products.
• 2+ years in direct OEM sales and territory development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to travel up to 50% across the assigned region.
