Our client is looking for a Senior Account Manager to support healthcare and pharmaceutical clients across scientific communications and publication projects. This person will manage projects from kickoff through completion, serving as the day-to-day connection between clients and internal creative, editorial, and scientific teams.
Hrs/wk : 40+ (Mon-Fri / 8:30am-5pm ET)
Location : Fully remote (No CA candidates)

Responsibilities:
- Manage scientific publication projects including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slide presentations, and congress deliverables
- Lead client calls and publication work group meetings
- Manage project timelines, budgets, scope, invoicing, and end-of-project reconciliation
- Partner with medical writers, editors, designers, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time
- Build strong client relationships and communicate proactively around timelines, scope changes, and potential roadblocks
- Ensure projects follow GPP 2022, ICMJE, journal, and congress guidelines
- Manage freelance and external resources as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of account or project management experience, preferably within medical/healthcare communications
- Experience managing scientific publications, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, or congress deliverables strongly preferred
- Pharma/biotech client experience and familiarity with industry guidelines
- Strong project management, organization, communication, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences background is a plus
