Job TitleBe the First to ApplyJob DescriptionEssential Functions and Primary DutiesProvide service delivery to an assigned block of more complex clientsResolve the most complex customer service problems directlyAct as an outward-facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact (not call center) on assigned accountsBuild relationships with employer/group clients (not individual members) and serve as the primary point of contact for overall and day-to-day service deliveryRepresent client internally and coordinate with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needsEscalate client concerns when appropriateMaintain data integrity and quality with any applicable software on a timely basisTake lead on designated renewals; prepare renewal information and present the CBIZ solutionWorks with senior staff to create needed communication materialsOversee new client set-up, renewals, and open enrollment meetingsEstablish and preserve a solid business rapport with clients and vendorsDiscuss applicable legislation and market trends with clientsGenerate client interest in additional lines of coverageCoach and assist less tenured client services staffAdditional responsibilities as assigned*Complexity is based on the degree of uncertainty, financial risk, technical requirements, urgency, and volume or sizePreferred QualificationsBachelor's DegreeLife, Accident and Health Insurance LicenseExperience managing fully insured, level-funded, and self-funded groups (majority are fully-insured groups)Open Enrollment and renewal experienceBachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.Relevant certifications (e.g., Life and Health License, CEBS) are a plusProficiency in Employee NavigatorMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMore than 5 years customer service experience in the insurance industry requiredMust maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertiseDemonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyAdvanced customer service skillsProficient use of applicable technologyAbility to work in team environment as well as independentlyMust be able to travel based on client and business needsAbout UsCBIZ, Inc.
