The role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, producers, and the transaction team by providing strategic guidance on risk, coverage, and insurance program alignment across both ongoing operations and transactional events.What You'll DoLead insurance due diligence for buy-side M&A transactions, including review of policies, claims history, loss runs, and exposure dataAnalyze insurance programs to identify risks, coverage deficiencies, contingent liabilities, and transaction-related exposuresImplement post-close insurance strategies, including entity additions/removals, coverage restructuring, policy endorsements, and tail/run-off coverage placementServe as a trusted advisor on complex commercial insurance programs, renewal strategy, carrier negotiations, and ongoing risk management initiativesCollaborate with clients, producers, underwriters, legal counsel, and transaction advisors to deliver integrated risk and insurance solutions aligned with transaction objectivesServe as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering expert guidance on risk management, coverage structure, and compliance requirementsWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree with a minimum of 5+ years of client service, or High School degree with a minimum of 7 years of client serviceTeam-oriented self-starter, with the ability to organize, prioritize, monitor, control workflow deadlines, and be flexibleAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demandsAdaptability and resilience in managing shifting prioritiesA collaborative mindset to work with teams across EPICInsurance technical skills; ability to apply knowledge of coverage forms in analysis, identification of coverage gaps, and ongoing coverage consultationReceptive to feedback; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; high adaptabilityAbility to work well under pressure with attention to detailsStrong verbal and written communication skills and analytical abilitiesProperty and Casualty Insurance LicenseInsurance Designation(s) preferredProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with agency management systems such as Sagitta, ImageRight, etcWhy EPICEPIC has over 60 offices and 3,000 employees nationwide – and we're growing!
