Semiconductor Equipment EngineerRaytheon is hiring for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer assigned to 4th shift with the hours of 4:30am to 5 pm Friday – Sunday (3x12) with 4 hours makeup. Candidate will be a shift support engineer and be responsible for the uptime and maintenance of Wet Etch systems and work hands on in a cleanroom environment. The candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment within the clean room environment.

This includes high levels of experience, electrical, electro-mechanical, and gas systems typically found in a semiconductor operation. Future expansion to support a wider range of equipment is expected.What You Will DoDiagnosing equipment issues using experience, system knowledge, and technical manuals.Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing manufacturing equipment.Qualifications We PreferFamiliar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standardsRead and understand equipment manuals and schematics.Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.Ability to pull and analyze tool date.Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.Knowledge of thin-film metrology (ellipsometry, XRR, TEM, XPS, FTIR).Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and support a dynamic production setting.Proficient use of MS Office products.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
