Job Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated, and result-driven Warehouse Unloader and Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced logistics team. This is a physically demanding role built for individuals who thrive on hard work, high standards, and a "get the job done" mentality. You will manage the frontline of our supply chain, ensuring inventory is safely unloaded, meticulously organized, and processed with extreme attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload trailers: Safely transport inbound freight using forklifts and manual labor.
- Operate heavy machinery: Drive sit-down or stand-up forklifts with absolute precision.
- Verify inventory: Match bills of lading against physical counts to ensure zero discrepancies.
- Stage materials: Organize and stack pallets in designated storage bays or production lines.
- Maintain quality: Inspect incoming goods for damage and report issues immediately.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Constant movement: Walk over 10+ miles per day across a vast warehouse floor.
- Always on your feet: Stand, bend, reach, and lift for the duration of your shift.
- Heavy lifting: Manually lift & push items weighing up to 50–75 lbs regularly.
- Dynamic scheduling: Work long days with no set end time; shifts finish only when the final trailer is clear and the job is complete.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in warehouse unloading and certified forklift operation.
- Mindset: Exceptionally self-motivated with a strong internal drive to meet performance metrics.
- Detail-oriented: Laser-focused on accuracy under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
The Opportunity
Selecting products throughout the warehouse leveraging warehouse equipment that may include single or double electric pallet jacks, reach lifts or forklifts and other duties as assigned by site leadership
What Success Looks Like
- 2+ years experience with ride-on electric pallet jack
- High-energy individual with a strong work ethic
- Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision
- Independent decision maker as needed to accomplish tasks
- Flexible work schedule due to changing operational needs
- Ability to provide accurate entry of data and ability to handle administrative tasks as assigned
- Sit or stand for periods in office as well as warehouse environment (concrete flooring and changing temperatures)
- Walking throughout warehouse during shift
