Calling Veterans! Veterans are invited to volunteer with Penn Medicine at Home Hospice to visit with patients on service, attend Veteran events in the community and help honor fellow Veterans.
Duties: To provide meaningful support. Your visits would recognize the patient's service; lend a listening ear; bring comfort and meaning to the patient and his/her family; provide an opportunity to reminisce; and bring honor and dignity to the patient's contribution to all Americans.
Requirements:
- Be a veteran or an active member of one of the branches of the US Armed Forces; have the desire to recognize and honor fellow veterans; be flexible in scheduling visits when veterans are admitted; have the ability to provide a respectful presence and caring companionship to a veteran/hospice patient.

- Attend Veteran events in the community with the team
- Days and times will be on an "as needed" basis.
