Security Vulnerability Engineer

Leading the design and operation of advanced vulnerability management and threat-detection capabilities, the full-time remote Security Vulnerability Engineer will configure data pipelines, develop detection systems, and provide technical leadership to enhance security solutions across mission-critical environments. Key responsibilities Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities while developing detection logic and analytics Design and implement systems for analyzing large volumes of security telemetry and threat intelligence data Lead security engineering projects focused on detection, vulnerability analytics, and emerging technologies Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years in security engineering, vulnerability management, or detection engineering U.S. citizenship required; must be willing to undergo a U.S. Government background investigation Hands-on experience with security analytics, detection frameworks, and scripting/automation (Python) Experience with large-scale data stores and retrieval-based analysis architectures for security use cases Advanced query and detection engineering skills, with experience in model evaluation and deployment
