GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and safeguard premises.

Job Description

As a Surveillance Security Officer, you will monitor cameras and security systems, detect suspicious activity, document incidents, and collaborate with law enforcement as needed.

  • Schedule: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM Thursday–Sunday (32 hrs/week); 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Saturday–Tuesday (32 hrs/week)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
  • Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
  • Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
  • Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
  • Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
  • Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
  • Strong proficiency with technology.
  • Experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid security license or ability to obtain one.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of security experience.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
