Security Support 2 - Badge, Access & Fingerprint Processing Specialist

Pay Range: $22.04 - $28.99/Hr. Overview: Security Support 2 - Badge, Access & Fingerprint Processing Specialist
Our client is seeking a Security Support 2 , you'll produce employee and guest badges and identification cards, manage security reader cards, and handle key security administration processes-from processing security data for employment records and clearances to managing visit authorizations for restricted areas. If you take pride in staying organized, verifying information, and ensuring records are maintained properly, this role is a strong fit.
Requirements: Security Support 2 - Badge, Access & Fingerprint Processing Specialist

• High School diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years additional education and/or experience
• Ability to produce and maintain accurate security credentials, including employee/guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards
• Experience processing security information and data related to employment records, security clearances, and property control
• Competence collecting and submitting electronic fingerprints, handprints, and optical reading into required systems
• Strong attention to detail to verify information accuracy prior to issuing clearances
• Ability to maintain accurate lock and key records
• Experience processing visit authorizations for employees and guests to access restricted areas
• Ability to maintain controlled security documents and information
• Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Nice to Have Skills: Security Support 2 - Badge, Access & Fingerprint Processing Specialist

• Experience working with security clearance workflows or controlled-access environments
• Familiarity with access authorization systems or credentialing processes
• Experience handling sensitive information with strong confidentiality practices
