Job TitleThis position is responsible for project coordination, safety, installation, checkout, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Ensures that daily activities on site for projects are completed and regular progress on projects are communicated to the project manager.
Responsibilities include:Ensuring all design engineer activity is aligned with latest conformed construction documents prior to installationCollaborating with project manager and procurement personnel on purchasing activity and monitoring budget risksAssisting the PM in material procurementEnsuring materials are being delivered to site or subcontractors for installationValidating hardware and project installationsInstalling, replacing, and re-commissioning devices, equipment, and softwareDiagnosing communication problems and installing control devices and other components as well as troubleshooting software and hardware issuesParticipating in field quality control or safety audits and reviewing analysis and resultsCoordinating with on-site contractors for the installation of equipment based on shop drawingsActing as primary point of contact for subcontractors during installation phaseCoordinating and addressing any issues during installation phase independentlyCollaborating with the Project Manager to coordinate projects through the installation phaseProviding feedback to the Project Manager for manpower requirementsEnsuring that installation tracking sheets are updated regularlyPreparing customer-training manuals and providing customized trainingContributing to a complete operations to service turnover processBeing responsible for overall system functionality/performanceSetting up outside ISP connections and remote connectivity to customer sitesQualifications: At least 4 years' experience as a Systems Application Engineer with related industry knowledge, and demonstrated communication skills for interfacing directly with customers and other trades. This individual should have experience with HVAC and security installations and be proficient in all types of building systems and application of our technology. Shall be capable of coordination of other project team activities on site, including coordination with other trades, commissioning agents, and customers. Able to modify and update design drawings and maintain red line documents.
