Job Description

You will:

Serve as EPA's primary authority for National Security Information by developing, implementing, and overseeing agency policy, procedures, compliance, audits, training, cost reporting, and corrective actions to ensure full adherence to the Director of National Intelligence, Executive Branch, Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO), and 32 CFR requirements.

Represent EPA in interagency and government-wide classified information matters by advising ONS leadership, coordinating with accrediting officials and ISOO, resolving novel and controversial security issues, and leading the protection, readiness, and continuous compliance of classified spaces, holdings, and systems across the agency.

Manage EPA's physical security and accreditation program by assessing and securing classified spaces and systems, including Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities, intrusion detection systems, access control systems, and Fixed Facility Checklists, while resolving security risks, maintaining Intelligence Community Directive compliance, and investigating compromises or inadvertent disclosures.

Oversee personnel security, access control, and technical security for EPA classified operations by verifying clearances and need-to-know, controlling visitor and entry access, administering briefings and debriefings, safeguarding classified materials, and mitigating technical surveillance and accreditation risks.

One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position.
